When we embarked on Rainey’s equine therapy journey, we could never have imagined where it would lead. What began as a way for Rainey to bond with horses and find healing soon blossomed into something far greater.
In 2020, we opened the doors to Pride and Joy Rescue, turning Rainey’s dream of saving horses in need into a living reality. Though our organization remains small, we could not be prouder of the compassion, dedication, and care our team pours into this meaningful work each day.
It is an honor to support Rainey as she follows her calling—uplifting horses through empathy, rehabilitation, and love. Her personal journey has become a force for good, and we are deeply privileged to carry that vision forward every day through Pride and Joy Rescue.
With compassion and empathy, our mission is to rescue horses from the tragic fate of slaughter. At Pride and Joy Rescue, we provide refuge, rehabilitation, and a second chance for horses and other farm animals in need. While we are primarily an equine rescue, we also care for and adopt out goats, dogs, and cats.
We are dedicated to saving animals from neglect, abuse, and slaughter—offering compassionate care and expert rehabilitation to restore their health and spirit. Through education, community outreach, and hands-on involvement, we inspire others to value, protect, and advocate for all animals.
Pride and Joy is based on a veteran-owned, family-run ranch in Fargo, North Dakota, which stands as a beacon of hope—where every life is cherished, and every animal finds safety, healing, and love.
